The concept of good and bad has a lot to do with what is right and what is wrong.

What we think is good is usually right, and what is bad is usually wrong. But what is a good deed and what is a bad deed? How can all this be decided in today's world, where so many people can have completely different opinions about the same thing?

The definitions of "right" are as follows:

1. most favorable or desired, preferable.

2. socially acceptable. (Merriam Webster´s unabridged Dictionary)*

The definition of "wrong" is of course the opposite.

Now, is it right to make a law that promotes the interests of only a small group of people but restricts everyone else? Or is it right to break up with someone who constantly criticizes and devalues you?

What is right? This is the eternal question!

Well, if you look closely at the above definitions and think about them, you will see that the good decisions are those that support you and other people, or that bring joy to the most people!

Just think about this and you will see that it is the truth.

If a law makes most people unhappy and only a very few people benefit from it, then that law is wrong and should be repealed! This is not socially acceptable! (Definition 2)

The biggest problem of today's society is that the above definitions are not taken into account in its decisions and partly in the legislation!

Why? Because very few people know and understand the definitions of "right" and "wrong"!

"This multinational company will pay us millions if we do them this favor..." or "Mr. Smith has a lot of authority in political circles, so let's forgive him for this tax evasion..."

Imagine how big a difference it would make in the world, if we always decided according to the best of the majority?! Namely for everyone involved!

So, would it help you, your family, and everyone else to change the job where you don't have to put up with someone's derogatory comments you all the time? If yes, then it is right and you should do it as soon as possible. Otherwise, it would only bring you bad luck in the long run.

However, if this does not serve the greatest good, then another solution must be found, such as a one-on-one conversation with the person who is constantly belittling, or reporting to the big boss, and so on.

There will certainly be those who will try to convince you that something that is clearly wrong for everyone is right. But take a good look at that person for yourself. And if you really look behind the scenes, you will discover that he is actually acting in his own interest and not with the greatest good in mind!

If you always keep this in mind when you make your decisions, you will never regret anything, because you will always make the right decisions. And then you will do the right thing.

You only feel bad when you make wrong decisions.

With this work of art, I want to remind you of the right way, and if you realize this often enough, your life will be much calmer, more efficient and much easier.

Always consider the greatest good in your decisions.

And people who know what they're doing and aren't stuck in their bad decisions are more stable and generally happier.
