My roots
I was born in Hungary, but moved to Germany when I was still young, where I lived for almost 30 years. There I met a Swedish girl, whom I later married. We moved to Sweden a few years ago and currently live happily here.
That's all briefly about where I've lived so far.
I have always practiced some form of art. Among other things, I wrote books (6 in total, in two languages). But I have always been interested in painting, sculpture and fine arts.
I believe that artworks have a soul.
As an artist, you add something that can be said to be "out of this world". Many times I have seen people get emotional when they see a piece of art for the first time. Some people are amazed, others have tears in their eyes, or are simply speechless. In any case, a beautiful work of art can make a deep impression on people. Works of art, even if they only provoke outrage, clearly have the ability to provoke a reaction in the viewer.
However, this is not caused by individual physical things such as individual lines or dots in the image, but by the arrangement of these things and the overall concept. This overall impression causes the above reactions. And this is put together by the artist, with a specific purpose.
If you successfully communicate this intention, you get clear reactions from the viewer, and I consider this to be the meaning or soul of the work.
This can also be seen in works of art that are not necessarily considered technically difficult or even beautiful, but people still see something in them that fascinates them. I am sure that some painters could, from a purely technical point of view, imitate any work of art by, for example, Picasso or Dali without much difficulty. But these would be different pictures because they lack the original intention of the artist.
My philosophy
During my studies, I came to my second passion: philosophy.
After that, I worked every day with people who wanted to solve their personal or professional problems with my help. I realized relatively quickly that I was able to change people in a positive way by giving them more understanding.
The more you understand life, the better you will be able to cope with it.
The same applies to all the smaller areas of life. The better a person can understand his wife, for example, the better he will get along with her. Or the better someone understands a problem, the more likely they are to deal with it, etc. And this is equally true for wars, disputes or any other problem...
More philosophy...
I know it's all a matter of perspective.
These are mostly my truths, which I was lucky enough to realize during my studies. However, I installed a filter. I have only accepted information that I myself can observe or experience in life!
And the answers are right in front of our noses! However, people are so confused that they cannot distinguish truth from lies. They don't know what really matters in life and what doesn't. And that's because they can't differenciate between right and wrong.
For some, a football result is of the same magnitude as a bomb attack in the Middle East or a famine in Africa. Due to the amount of information consumed from the media, it is almost impossible to see what is actually important and what is not.
Truth versus lies
I used to be full of all kinds of worries. During my philosophical studies, I found myself and built my "own world" piece by piece.
I replaced the old distorted or false information with new reliable information. But if I had listened to my environment or the media, I probably would have gone crazy, or better yet, confused. This is only supported by the fact that more and more people are developing depression and abnormal behavior.
So, the more lies a person accumulates throughout his life, the more unhappy and unstable he becomes.
In schools, students are taught a lot of information. When was the Battle of Waterloo? How long did Napoleon live? etc. I think general education is important, but only after teaching young people how to build a happy and prosperous life!
What does responsibility mean? What is honor? What is right and what is wrong? What are the consequences of thinking only of yourself and ignoring others? And so on...
Despite today's advanced technologies, people in this age were intellectually far behind. Depression, wars and crime are on the agenda almost everywhere.
How is it that, despite countless antidepressants and psychotropic drugs, the number of psychoses continues to increase?
The human soul cannot be healed with material means. The body, yes, but to manage our thoughts and feelings, a mental approach is needed.
It is my unwavering goal to change these states. Even if it seems unrealistic or unachievable to others, I believe it can be done. Very often I have found that the simplest things, such as attention, understanding or compassion, have resulted in a significant improvement in the condition of my patients! If more people did this, we would make the world much more beautiful and better.
And I would rather die fighting for a good cause than with a bad conscience, in apathy...
Everything starts with the individual.
A society is made up of individuals.
And most people want peace. However, one must first find peace in oneself before finding it in others...
And this is achieved through understanding. That's why I want to give people as much understanding as possible with my texts and my works.
And with all of this, I am pursuing one goal:
To show the way of truth to anyone who is open to it, and thereby make him more stable, happier and more successful.
If you apply what you've learned, you can judge for yourself how successfully it works...
Old & new
I I'm a rebel.
But in a good way... I don't want a revolution, I want evolution.
I don't agree that art as such is being destroyed.
What exactly do I mean?
The definition of art has changed significantly in the last few hundred years. The difference lies less in what art is, but in who decides what counts as art and what criteria are used!
Back then, art was something beautiful, something aesthetic that people liked. People thought it was a great painting or a beautiful sculpture and bought it because they found them aesthetically pleasing.
Today, the whole field of art has been somewhat perverted. A bloody tissue can be art these days. But do people really want something like that in their living room? I certainly don't.
Of course, everyone worked relatively hard back then, and didn't spend most of their time on social media like people do today. That's why there are far more depressed people today than back then! Despite the welfare state! And depressed people naturally attract depressing art forms...
If a famous art critic says something is art today, people "suddenly see" it as art! If the same artwork were shown by a child, they might laugh at them and walk away shaking their heads.
So art has been reduced from an aesthetic wavelength to a mere idea.
On top of that, many art critics promote or reject something purely out of greed, and it has nothing to do with actual skill. They often just want to get a huge commission. And so art is perverted once again. For many buyers, it's just an investment, and they buy the artwork even if they find it utterly ugly.
That's what I'm rebelling against.
The same thing happened with design as such. How famous or prestigious the source is is more important than functionality or aesthetics. Unfortunately.
The ugliest car in the world—if it's presented by Ferrari, for example—can be loudly celebrated and sold for millions!
The idea behind it has become more important than the object self. But don't get me wrong. The idea is ALSO important! BUT we can't reduce everything to just one or the other! We need BOTH in a balanced way to achieve the optimal effect on the viewer.
When a work of art or object has both, it is complete. People like it and it has a good story? Perfect! But having only the idea behind it, or only a functional object, would be equally incomplete works. And I wouldn't call it art.
This is how I think about it.
Some people agree, some don't. And that's a good thing! After all, we live in a democracy! But I've already described my position above.
